Arturo J. Bohorquez

A native of Peru, Mr. Bohorquez has lived in the D.C. Metro Area for the past 21 years. He is a native Spanish speaker and has experience with bankruptcy, immigration, family and federal criminal law.
Mr. Bohorquez received his juris doctorate from the University of the District of Columbia’s David A. Clarke School of Law. While at UDC, Mr. Bohorquez worked steadfastly to improve the lives of the citizens of the District of Columbia as a Clinical Law Student. He worked in both the Community Development Clinic and the Juvenile Education Clinic. His work in the Community Development Clinic focused on the effects of gentrification on residents of wards six, seven and eight. While working in the Juvenile and Special Education Clinic, Mr. Bohorquez worked extensively on special education issues facing students, their families, and educators working east of the Anacostia River.
Prior working in the law, Mr. Bohorquez worked as a community organizer in Arlington County. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
